Makati City Mayor Jejomar “Jojo” Binay on Tuesday announced his intent to run for president in the 2010 national elections,He announced his intent during the 66th Foundation of the Makati City Hall.

Cong.Teddy Boy Locsin has introduced Binay as The “Obama” of the Philippines,But the difference according to them is that No one questions about Binay’s Experience when he Seated in The City’s High office.

Well,For me,Every Filipino Politician has the Right to Claim that They are the “Obama” of the Philippines,Tutal May Maitim naman sa kanila….YUNG BUDHI!

The Philippine government rejected a request to defer a refund of foreign currency fees collected by the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco).

Fact : Only 10% of our Garbage in Metro Manila is Segregated Properly,Meaning, That 90% is thorwn out in our Canals,rivers and Streets.

Metro Manila experience Flash Floods instantly with just some Few amounts of rain pouring,It is mainly due to Clogged Drainages caused by these garbages….If we do not act properly,It could get Worse.

Over the past years,The Government has raised our awareness on how to segregate our garbages properly,Remember that Biodegradable/Non-Biodegradable Wastes that our Public School Teachers taught us when we were in Grade School? I hope NOT!

Anyways,For those people who learned a lot from School,It is very easy to understand the difference between Biodegradable and Non-Bio….But for those who did not experienced entering grade school,Expect that they do not know these things AT ALL,And I do care about them.

That is why I suggest that instead of putting “Biodegradable” and “Non-Biodegradable” Descriptions on Garbage Cans,Why don’t we just Put something that is More Meaningful,I mean,let’s put Pictures instead of Just descriptions…

For example:

We should use The Philippine Congress’ logo if we want to tell the people that The Garbage they will throw in the Trash Bin is Biodgradable,For it fits the Character of our Lawmakers….”Bulok ang Style”.

Senator Loren Legarda’s picture is a perfect description For Wastepapers,It is not beacuse of her Stand in protecting the Envirorment,But beacuse she is some kind of a “Ma-Papel”.

In segregating Plastic Bottles,Don’t forget to put Willie Revillame’s picture in front of your Trash bins,It represents his character off-camera….Masyado siyang Plastik.

If we know how to segregate our garbages properly,I’m sure We will reach our goal of having a Flood-free Metro Manila…and we will never need those guys from MMDA to clean our Drainages….
